You are logging into your UNM HSC HIPAA-Compliant Telehealth Zoom License approved for conducting patient consultations and/or any meetings involving PHI

This license does NOT allow for recording (if you need this feature, our recommendation is to have a Staff Member request an HSC Pro account to schedule these meetings for you)

This license does NOT allow file sharing via the Chat feature (screen-sharing is allowed)

Ensure your Waiting Room is ON prior to conducting patient consultations.

Generating transcriptions of patient consults is not allowed.

Currently, AI is not allowed to be used in conjunction with telehealth sessions.

Ensure you are in a private location for your telehealth consults (e.g., a place where other individuals cannot hear or see the consult).

Use a secure Wi-Fi connection (such as your work or home network, not a coffee shop or other public Wi-Fi source).

Turn off/disable any devices that could record conversations in the background (such as Alexa, Google or other smart devices).

Ensure all devices used for telehealth are updated with the latest security patches and have strong, unique passwords (if you have questions about security patches, please reach out to the HSC IT Service desk 505-272-1694).

Delete any unnecessary patient health information from devices after the telehealth session.

Never store PHI on your local hard drive - only store PHI in appropriate/approved locations.
